Israelis to Kerry: Go Away

In his never-ending quest to win the far-left Nobel Peace Prize, John Kerry has deliberately put the security of the state of Israel at greater risk.
Sadly, and quite dangerously, this is nothing new for Kerry. In January of this year, Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon, recognizing Kerry’s self-serving endgame, said: “American Secretary of State John Kerry, who turned up here determined and acting out of misplaced obsession and messianic fervor, cannot teach me anything about the conflict with the Palestinians ... the only thing that can ‘save us’ is for John Kerry to win a Nobel Prize and leave us in peace.”
Seven months later, with Israel now waging a war with Hamas — a terrorist organization sworn to the destruction of Israel — Kerry’s naked personal ambition has managed to outrage liberals and conservatives alike in the Jewish state.
As the conflict with Hamas raged on in Gaza, Kerry presented a “peace” proposal titled “Framework for Humanitarian Ceasefire in Gaza.” It was so one-sidedly in favor of Hamas that the Israeli Cabinet rejected it unanimously. As was reported in Israel, the council members were in complete shock and titled it a “prize for terror,” believing that John Kerry had completely bought into the positions advocated by the Turkish and Qatari foreign ministers solely on behalf of Hamas.
Of course, as we watch the secretary of state’s undermining of Israel continue, it’s important to remember that John Kerry gets his marching orders from Barack Obama. A man who literally won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for doing — nothing.
Now, with Obama’s epic foreign policy failures in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Iran, Iraq and our own border with Mexico, I wonder if the Nobel Prize committee might have the courage and decency to rescind a prize that proved them nothing more than biased propagandists.
For those who care to take the partisan blinders off and look at the Nobel Prize committee for the left-wing trophy factory it has become, it is no surprise that Al Gore also won a Nobel Peace Prize. His was for pushing “facts” about global warming that turned out to be false. That reality aside, the “inconvenient truth” is that Gore was more than happy to use his Nobel Prize as a way to justify his fearmongering while creating his own personal cottage industry, which to date has netted him over $100 million.
Now, John Kerry wants his Nobel Prize and he has decided the only way to achieve his goal is to betray the state of Israel.
Unfortunately for him, with their very lives and existence increasingly at stake, politicians in Israel decided enough was enough and rightfully chose to hit back at the bullies Barack Obama and John Kerry.
After Obama called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisting on an immediate cease-fire, which would have put Israel at an immediate disadvantage, multiple leaders in Israel challenged the president, questioned his motives and even questioned his allegiance.
Said Likud member Danny Danon: “We need a break from the fire that is coming from the Obama administration.”
His colleague, Orit Struk, dialed up the criticism by saying, “When President Obama and his Secretary of State Kerry take the side of the Islamic axis of evil time after time, they completely lose their status as ‘honest brokers’ in the conflict.”
Housing and construction minister Uri Ariel summed up the feelings of many in the government of Israel with regard to President Obama’s and John Kerry’s irresponsible meddling in favor of Hamas. “Leave us alone,” he pleaded.
Unfortunately for Israelis, as the nominations for the next Nobel Peace Prize do not close until Feb. 1, 2015, that is not likely to happen.
