The June 8 - 11 event will have more than 150 competitors attempting to qualify for the 2013 National Championships this July in Albuquerque, N.M.
According to Angela Serini, publicist for Spinnations and the Florida Skating Academy, the events begin with an unofficial Super Skater session 7-10 a.m. on Saturday morning. The doors will reopen at 5 p.m. for evening events and the opening ceremonies. Senior and Junior World Class short programs and International Solo events take place in the evening.
Doors open on Sunday and Monday at 6 a.m. and events feature multiple age groups and skill levels, from Tiny Tot through the Youth, Adult and World Class divisions. Events include singles, figures, solo dance, team dance, creative solo and creative pairs.
Prior to Saturday's competition, there is a kickoff awards banquet Friday evening at Spartan Manor, at which the 2012 National Champions, World Team members and others will be recognized.
Admission to the events is $5 per segment and tickets can be purchased at the door. There is a concession stand on site that will be offering breakfast and lunch specials.
