The circus is coming to town this weekend

The 2014 edition of Loomis Bros. Circus will be at All Sports Arena on Friday night and Saturday.

With a cast of International circus stars, the show features acrobats, clowns, aerialists, thrill acts and more. The circus also showcases elephants and tigers.

The circus’ producer and ringmaster, Justin Loomis, promises the best circus to ever play the area.

Loomis Bros. Circus began as a childhood dream for Loomis, according to the firm’s website.

Now in its 17th year, the Bushnell-based show travels throughout the country, concentrating on the southern United States and visiting a different city every almost ever other day.

All the animals in the show receive the best, loving care. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, circus officials emphasize.

Loomis Bros. Circus has the ability to play in all types of venues both large and small, indoors or outdoors, and performs rain or shine.

The circus often raises money for schools and charitable organizations as well, such as the Boys & Girls Club, Lions Club, zoo teaching programs and many more.

The first show will be 7 p.m. Friday at the arena at 7716 Rutilio Court. Three shows on Saturday will be 1, 4 and 7 p.m.

All seating is general admission and doors open one hour prior to the scheduled show time. Advance tickets can be purchased online at

A coupon in today’s issue of The Suncoast News and other discounts are available. On the day of show, the circus accepts cash only at the on-site box office.
