Guitarist Mr. Tommy rocks the rink during Preschool Palooza

SPRING HILL — Some 200 youngsters got to blow off some steam cheering and singling along with Mr. Tommy during his concert at the Preschool Palooza.

As summer vacations draw to a close, Early Learning Coalition of Pasco and Hernando Counties sponsored the event at the Locomo Skating Rink on County Line Road in Spring Hill.

Mr. Tommy is also known as Tommy Girvin of Wesley Chapel. He is perhaps best known for his guitar work for more than a quarter of a century as lead guitarist for New York police officer turned rock singer Eddie Money.

Many do not know that Mr. Tommy also enjoys sharing his love of music with children.

Mr. Tommy rocked the rink with sing-a-long songs brought to life by the masterful storyteller and guitar player. The interactive program encourages children to build their self-esteem and imagination.
