THIS WEEK’S FEATS:

Cooper blew up for a career-high 41 points during Anclote’s big 89-64 victory at Wesley Chapel. The junior buried 9 of 14 3-pointers and grabbed eight rebounds.

SEASON STATS:

Cooper’s averaging 12.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists a night. His previous highest-scoring game came when he put up 28 during a loss last year against Mitchell.

TOP SEED:

Anclote holds a two-game advantage over Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills for first place in the Class 6A District 8 standings. The Sharks play Pasco and Zephyrhills this week and one win will lock up the top seed come tournament time Feb. 11-15.
