The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in its investigation of Wednesday’s fire at the Wall Springs Park observation tower.

“Detectives are continuing to actively work the case as a suspicious fire,” the sheriff’s office said Friday in a news release.

Deputies were dispatched to the structure fire the park, 3725 De Soto Blvd., Palm Harbor, at 7:39 a.m. Wednesday. The fire destroyed the 3,000-square-foot, four-story observation tower, authorities said.

The park will remain closed during the investigation.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective Larry McLean at (727) 582-6200.
