HOLIDAY— State troopers are on the lookout for a van that was involved in a fatal crash around noon Monday involving a man riding in a motorized wheelchair.

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a magenta or red minivan that was traveling westbound on Moog Road when it drove into a crosswalk and struck Larry Robert Small, 77. At the time of the collision, Small was rolling in a southbound direction in the crosswalk on the east side of the intersection of Moog Road and Pinehurst Drive, troopers said.

The van is expected to have suffered damage to its front end, hood and windshield in the collision, troopers said.

The Highway Patrol has released a photo of what appears to be a headlight lens found at the crash scene.
