HUDSON — Pasco deputies are asking the public for help in identifying a pair of robbers who held up a popular restaurant and bar at Hudson Beach.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the robbers, one of whom was armed with a black handgun, forced their way into Sam’s Beach Bar, at the end of Clark Street, between 8 a.m. and 8:24 a.m. on June 3 and robbed the beachfront establishment.
Suspect 1 is described as a white male, possibly in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall. He’s described as having short dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, tattoo sleeves on both arms and wearing a dark shirt.
Suspect 2 is described as a white male, around 5 foot 6 or 5 foot 7, possibly in his 20s, with light brown hair.
The suspects fled in a dark colored, possibly blue, four door SUV, which may be a Chevrolet.
On its Facebook page, Sam’s Beach Bar posted this message later in the day:
To all our awesome customers .... Sam’s will be closed today ( Monday June 3rd) ... we are sorry for the inconvenience but we have had the misfortune of being robbed this morning before we opened ... a few staff members were pepper sprayed and beaten up a bit but thank god they are ok ! We have the utmost faith that our awesome Pasco county sheriff’s department will catch these guys and bring justice .... until then we will need tonight to settle and pick up the pieces and be ready to get back to business tomorrow.... thank you for understanding.
