Jimmy McKittrick, marketing director for Terlep Chiropractic, presents a check for $7,500 for the American Cancer Society. The 2018 edition of the chiropractic clinic’s Ladies Night Out fundraiser will be held May 10.

SPRING HILL — Most would agree that women and men, by design, have differing interests. And Terlep Chiropractic is right on it, planning the fifth Ladies Night, scheduled for May 10, with interests specifically chosen with women in mind.

Jimmy McKittrick, marketing director for Terlep Chiropractic, said the event gets bigger each year, with more vendors, freebies and hidden surprises. Themed to enhance the experience, this year visitors will delight in a format titled “Ladies Night for the Disco Diva.”

An elite collection of vendors will give away items while stamping passports, handed out at the door. Completed passports will then be eligible for a drawing of prizes including a full spa package at Safety Harbor Spa & Resort, valued at $1000.

Ladies Night will take place 6-9 p.m. at 8003 Northcliffe Blvd. Guests will enjoy free food including wine, vendors, entertainment, prize drawings and a complimentary spinal screening. The event supports the American Cancer Society.

Cancer Society representatives will take over the front office, said McKittrick. “They sell the tickets, they collect the money and raffle the baskets.” As many as 50 baskets will be up for raffle.

Vendors include Aragami Owl, Tree Umph, the Peach Porch, Paparazzi, Cupcake Heaven, Signature Homestyles, Foto Fun Booth, Loft 352, Lipsense, Mermaid Rum, YMCA, Grow Financial, Big Daddy DJ Services, Damsel in Defense, Rita’s Italian Ice, Mary Kay, Chocolates by Vanessa, Divinity Med Spas, Publix Supermarkets, Albanese Coloring Company, Tampa Bay Times, Sir Speedy and Beerfrog Mermaid Rum.

“A lot of people do events, but I wanted to do something at the office that was free and brought in local vendors so they can show their wares and I can talk about chiropractic.”

Terlep Chiropractic doesn’t charge the vendors to participate. Each brings a basket that are prizes in the drawing benefiting the ACS.

Last year’s Ladies Day brought in more than 400 women and raised $6,000 in just three hours.

“It’s so much fun. I love this night,” McKittrick added.
