HUDSON – Ashlee Jordan Grisanti, 24, faces a DUI manslaughter charge after Florida Highway Patrol troopers reported she caused an accident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.

According to reports, Grisanti, of New Port Richey, was driving a sedan with two male passengers north on U.S. Highway 19 at approximately 9:36 p.m., Nov. 27. A 38-year-old man from Spring Hill was riding a motorcycle in the southbound center lane of U.S. 19 and both vehicles were approaching the intersection with Viva Via Drive.

At the intersection, Grisanti turned into the path of the motorcyclist, causing a collision that ejected the victim from the bike.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.

FHP troopers said Grisanti was impaired, placed her under arrest and transported her to the Pasco County Jail.
