HUDSON — Community Aging & Retirement Services, Inc. has been selected to partner with GA Foods for the distribution of USDA Farmers to Families Food Boxes in Pasco County.
Two-hundred food boxes will be distributed to seniors and older adults on a first-come, first-serve basis Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to noon, at CARES Rao Musunuru, M.D. Enrichment Center, 12417 Clock Tower Pkwy., Hudson.
The 20-pound food boxes will consist of fresh produce, precooked protein, and dairy to help seniors and people in need during the COVID-19 crisis. As long as supplies last, no one in need will be turned away, and no documentation is required. Patrons are asked to remain in their car and simply open the trunk when next in line.
