Man accused of stabbing wife in head with knife

A New Port Richey man was arrested Wednesday night after he stabbed his wife in the head with a knife Sunday, according to the Pasco Sheriff's Office.About 7 p.m. Sunday, a man walked into his parents' home at 7324 Julian St. in New Port Richey and found furniture destroyed and blood on the floor, according to an arrest report.The mother told her son his father, Armando P. Santos, 56, was upset about the couple separating and the two began to argue, deputies said.At some point, Santos used a knife from the kitchen to stab the woman in the head. Santos then approached the woman with a pot and the woman used a knife to stab her husband, the report said.Santos left the house and was arrested Wednesday at a New Port Richey Sweetbay grocery store. He was being held without bail in the Land O' Lakes Jail on a charge of domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
