NEW PORT RORT — Don’t make any plans for this Saturday that involve going to the Pasco Tax Collector’s Office.
Although the Tax Collector’s Office usually has two of its service centers open for business on Saturdays, all five will be closed May 11 to allow Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to undergo maintenance and upgrades, according to a May 6 release from Assistant Tax Collector Greg Giordano.
“While our office has no control over this upgrade, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the release states. “We appreciate your understanding during this brief but needed upgrade.”
All five Tax Collector’s Office service centers are scheduled to be open for business on May 13.
In addition, the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is warning that its online driver’s license and vehicle registration services may be disrupted between May 10 and 12, according to the Tax Collector’s Office.
The Tax Collector’s Office call center can be reached from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Its website is www.pascotaxes.com.
